Renesas Electronics completes Panthronics acquisition

     Renesas Electronics, a global supplier of semiconductor solutions, today announced the successful completion of the acquisition of Panthronics AG, a fabless semiconductor company focused on high performance wireless products, on June 2, 2023 JST and June 1, 2023 CST, subject to the receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals. Renesas also announced 13 "Portfolio of Successful product" solution designs that combine Renesas's products with Panthronics' unique Near Field communication (NFC) technology, demonstrating the continued expansion of Renesas's product lineup, particularly in connectivity.

Panthronics' products are also part of the Renesas Quick-Connect IoT, a standardized hardware platform, and Quick-Connect Studio, The drag-and-drop feature in the Quick-Connect Studio system design allows you to quickly and easily add the functionality and features you need.
