Renesas FS1015 and FS3000 Air flow rate sensor modules

     Renesas Electronics' FS1015 and FS3000 air velocity sensor modules, where the FS1015 is mounted vertically and the FS3000 is mounted surface-mounted. Both products accurately monitor air flow rates to detect system faults, measure air handling effects, and control fan speed for applications such as HVAC systems, analytical gas monitoring systems, data centers, and air quality systems.

     The FS1015 and FS3000 sensors use a range of MEMS thermocouples for highly sensitive air flow rate monitoring. Both devices measure DC air flow rates of up to 15 m/s, enabling rapid adjustment of system controls to improve efficiency and reduce costs while providing closed-loop control. Both products offer excellent wear resistance and long-term reliability thanks to solid thermal isolation of active MEMS sensing elements and silicon carbide thin film coating.

     The FS1015 comes in a 28.2mm x 14.2mm x 7.3mm package with a lead for vertical mounting and a scoliosis for screw fixation. The FS3000 module comes in a surface mount package of 8.0mm x 9.1mm x 4.4mm, ideal for thin applications.
