Renesas Electronics announced the launch of the new AnalogPAK™ IC family, which includes the low-power SLG47001/3 and the vehicle scale SLG47004-A, as well as the industry-leading programmable 14-bit SAR ADC (Successive approximation register analog-to-digital converter), the SLG47011. The SLG47011 can be used to improve MCU performance or offload MCU tasks, and can also be used in conjunction with the MCU to replace complex analog front ends (AFEs). Key functions supported by the SLG47011 include measurement, data processing, logic control, and data output.
The AnalogPAK , a member of Renesas GreenPAK™ programmable mixed-signal Matrix family, is a cost-effective non-volatile memory (NVM) programmable device. It enables innovators to integrate multiple system functions while minimizing the number of components, board space and power consumption. GreenPAK and AnalogPAK ics enable functional replacement of mixed-signal standard products and standalone discrete circuits, and provide reliable hardware monitoring capabilities for SOCs and microcontrollers. GreenPAK and AnalogPAK products are suitable for almost any application scenario, including consumer electronics, computing devices, white goods, industrial equipment, communications equipment and automotive electronics. With the Go Configure Hub and GreenPAK development kit, designers can create and program custom circuits in minutes.
Renesas' new SLG47011 AnalogPAK product takes configurable analog IC performance to the next level by integrating rich digital and analog capabilities, including a programmable multichannel 14-bit SAR ADC with a programmable gain amplifier (PGA). The SLG47011 also offers a flexible user-defined power saving mode for all macro units, enabling designers to turn off certain modules in sleep mode, reducing power consumption to the microamperage (µA) level.
