Richtek's RT4539 white LED efficient driver is suitable for driving six series and parallel LED light bars with single/two battery inputs. The internal current absorber supports a maximum of ± 2% current mismatch to achieve excellent brightness uniformity in each LED string

Richtek's RT4539 White LED high Efficiency driver is suitable for single/two-battery input drive six-series parallel LED strips. The WL-CSP-20B 1.71x2.371 (BSC) 0.4 mm pitch package of internal current absorbents supports a maximum ±2% loss configuration, resulting in excellent brightness uniformity across each string of leds. In order to allow sufficient margin for current absorption operation, the boost controller monitors the minimum voltage of the feedback pin and adjusts the optimized output voltage to improve power efficiency.

The RT4539 has a wide input voltage operating range of 2.7V to 24V and includes an I²C interface for controlling dimming mode, operating frequency and LED current. Internal 250 mΩ, 36 V power switches with current mode control provide overcurrent protection. The RT4539 switching frequency can be adjusted in the range of 300 kHz to 1.6 MHz, allowing flexibility between efficiency and component size.
