Rohm & Schwartz announced a breakthrough in 5G data performance: Rhode & Schwartz demonstrated 10 Gbps end-to-end (E2E) IP data performance using the R&S CMX500 5G Wireless Comprehensive Analyzer platform based on the Qualcomm solution. The solution is powered by a Snapdragon X65 5G modem RF system, the world's first 3GPP Release 16 modem RF system with Qualcomm QTM545 MMwave antenna module.
The Rhodes & Schwartz R&S CMX500 5G wireless Synthesizer provides NR-DC dual-link network simulation with a milestone data performance based on 3GPP Release 16. In this configuration, the two cells are connected simultaneously in the FR1 and FR2 mmwave frequency bands, respectively. The FR1 carrier uses an antenna configuration with 4x4 MIMO and 256QAM modulation with a bandwidth of 100 MHz. FR2 adds an additional eight carrier components on top of this, using 2x2 MIMO and 256QAM modulation.
