With the acceleration of electronic and high-density automotive electronic systems used in electric vehicles and ADAS, the noise environment has become increasingly severe. In general, it is difficult to evaluate the noise of circuit boards and system monomers in automobile development, and it is generally necessary to evaluate after assembly. However, once the evaluation result is NG, large-scale modification is required, so noise reduction design has always been a major subject. ROHM develops rail to rail input/output high-speed CMOS operational amplifiers "BD87581YG-C (single channel product)" and "BD87582YFVM-C (dual channel product)" with super anti EMI performance (anti-interference performance) for on-board engine control units, FA equipment anomaly detection systems and other on-board and industrial equipment that need high-speed sensing in harsh environments. EM is the abbreviation of electromagnetic radiation, ARMOUR means armor. It means that the operational amplifier developed by Rom is protected from external noise like armor. EMARMOUR famous for its excellent anti-interference performance ™ The original intention of the series is to prevent the product from misoperation due to noise interference without taking special measures in the application of the product. Compared with other types of products, EMARMOURTM series products are not easy to be interfered by external noise. Because of their strong anti noise ability when leaving the factory, they can effectively reduce the burden of noise reduction design, thus helping customers reduce system design man hours and design costs. In the design with a short overall delivery cycle, they can also achieve rapid response. In addition, with Rom's EMARMOURTM series products, excellent noise reduction can be achieved without any filtering countermeasures. Take the use of four channel products as an example, as many as 18 peripheral components can be reduced, effectively saving the cost of customer components and the cost of cloth area.
Based on the strong anti-interference capability of this series, this new product has achieved super performance in the four internationally accepted anti-interference evaluation tests. For example, in the "Electronic Radiation Immunity Test ISO 11452-2" implemented by automobile manufacturers, the output voltage of ordinary products fluctuates more than ± 300mV in the whole noise frequency band, while the output voltage of new products fluctuates only within ± 10mV (only 1/30 of that of ordinary products). Therefore, when new products are configured in the rear section of sensors and other components, CMOS component structure can be used to achieve rapid and accurate signal amplification without being affected by external noise. Therefore, it is very helpful to reduce design time and improve system reliability in a wide range of applications including various anomaly detection systems.
To demonstrate the new product as EMARMOUR ™ ROHM has implemented four internationally accepted immunity evaluation tests in the anechoic chamber, namely, "Electronic Radiation Immunity Test ISO 11452-2", "BCI Test ISO 11452-4", "Proximity Radiation Immunity Test ISO 11452-9" and "DPI Test IEC 62132-4". Rom has also made full preparations in developing tools. In the simulation model for new product verification, he faithfully reproduced the electrical and temperature characteristics of the actual IC using ROHM's own modeling technology, and successfully made the simulation value completely consistent with the value of the IC object. ROHM provides this high-precision SPICE model "ROHM Real Model". Through reliable verification, it can effectively prevent rework and other situations after actual trial production, which is helpful to improve the development efficiency of application products.
