SCHURTER introduces miniature high performance three-phase power filters

     SCHURTER introduces the FMAC NEO, a family of single-stage three-phase power filters. The new series of power filters is very small in shape and has high performance, which is ideal for today's more portable industrial machines, aiming to reduce the plant footprint. The larger temperature range extends the performance of these power filters in many critical applications.

     In particular, the space of the three-phase control cabinet is limited. SCHURTER solved this problem by designing a new power filter that is much smaller than the previous model. The new design, which is almost cubic, makes the best use of the space inside the cabinet. Designed with the highest quality components, this series of power filters maintains a high attenuation relative to its smaller size.

     The new range of power filter products is also suitable for high EMC load devices such as energy converters or motor drives. Typical applications include solar inverters, storage devices or charging stations for electric vehicles. These new high-performance power filters are also a good choice for modern frequency converters (for motor control).

     The FMAC NEO series power filter has screw terminals for secure and reliable cable terminations. All-metal hexagonal flange nuts ensure good ground connection screws mounted on the chassis. The standard version is suitable for a wider temperature range, from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 100 degrees Celsius. These power supply filters are suitable for currents ranging from 16 to 230 amps at ambient temperatures of 50 degrees Celsius. They are approved by ENEC and cURus and are recommended for applications up to 520 VAC. The standard version is intended for industrial applications with leakage currents of less than 13 mA. A special version is used for leakage critical applications of less than 3 mA.
