SCT current transformer to complete system integrated power measurement

     Beckhoff introduced a new SCT current transformer that completes the power measurement chain from measuring physical values to transmitting the collected data to the cloud. The current transformer product range covers all applications from 1 A to 5000 A, with a choice of ring and clamp transformers and three-phase current transformer sets.

     With the SCT current transformer, Beckhoff can implement reliable power sensor technology directly in the field as an integrated component of a PC control system. Users can choose from two device types, each with different design and performance levels, and are highly scalable for a variety of applications. The SCT product range ranges from low-cost three-phase current transformers for building technology and standard industrial transformers for machine equipment, to test bench and test bench solutions with extremely high precision requirements.
