ST launched 200mA dual operational amplifier, which can drive high power consumption industrial and automotive loads

     Stmicro's TSB582 dual-way high-output amplifier simplifies inductive and low-resistance load driving circuits for industrial motors, valves, rotary transformers and automotive electric steering systems, automatic parking, etc.

     The TSB582 uses a 4V-36V power supply and consists of two operational amplifiers (op amps). Each op amp has a maximum filling/pulling current of 200mA. It can bridge directly connected loads. It is allowed to use one TSB582 to replace two single channel power op amps or large current drivers constructed by discrete components. By integrating two operational amplifiers in the same package, the TSB582 can save up to 50% of the circuit board space and reduce the bill of materials cost.

     TSB582 has two versions: industrial version and automotive version. The industrial version is applicable to controlling robot motion and position, conveyor belt and servo motor. Automotive applications include electric steering, electric drive motor and other motor rotor position detection, as well as automatic driving assistance system and wheel rotation tracking of automatic driving vehicles.

     TSB582 has internal short circuit protection and overheating protection, rail to rail output, and gain bandwidth (GBW) up to 3.1MHz. The temperature range of industrial and automotive versions reaches - 40 ° C to 125 ° C, which strengthens EMI anti-interference function and has ESD tolerance up to 4kV HBM.
