STMicroelectronics' STEVAL-DPSG474 digital Power control suite consists of a motherboard based on the STM32G4 series microcontroller and an adapter board with communication and programming interfaces.      The STEVAL-DPSG474 digital power control kit of STMicroelectronics consists of a main board based on the STM32G4 series microcontroller and an adapter board with communication and programming interfaces. STM32G474RE MCU has high performance Arm  Cortex - M4 core, floating point unit (FPU), full set of digital signal processing (DSP) instructions and high-speed embedded memory.


     The device is embedded with peripheral devices for mathematical and arithmetic function acceleration [coordinate rotation digital computer (CORDIC) for trigonometric functions and filter mathematical accelerator (FMAC) unit for filter functions]. MCU provides a large number of high-performance peripherals, including multiple fast ADC and DAC channels, as well as general and special timers, such as high-resolution timers used to drive power conversion systems.


     The motherboard is embedded with a standard 64 pin DIN 41612 connector for connecting the power board. It provides all PWM control signals, sensor networks and protection functions required for various digital power supply applications.


     The external 5 V power supply voltage can supply power to the circuit board through the special connector or the main connector. The adapter board has configurable user communications (SMBus, CAN, or RS-232) with two DB9 connectors and an appropriate transceiver IC, a standard STDC14 14 pin connector, and a standard JTAG connector for programming. The standard STDC14 connector provides SWD interface for debugging and USART communication (UI) for user interface.
