STMicroelectronics EVLONEMP evaluation board is an excellent power density USB powered multi port board, which is equipped with USB Type-A port and USB Type-C supporting programmable power supply (PPS) ™ Port. The design supports various input voltages, and can provide 10W power (5V, 2A) on Type-A port, and five fixed PDO and two APDO on Type-C port.

The STMicroelectronics EVLONEMP Evaluation Board is an excellent power density USB powered multi-port board with USB Type-A ports and USB Type-C™ ports that support Programmable power supplies (PPS). The design supports a variety of input voltages, providing 10W power (5V at 2A) on the Type-A port and five fixed Pdos and two APdos on the Type-C port.

The board is based on the ST-ONEMP digital controller, which has an embedded Arm Cortex M0+ core, an offline programmable controller with synchronous rectifier capabilities, and a USB PD PHY in a single package. The system is specifically designed to control ZVS non-complementary active clamp flyback converters to create high power density chargers and adapters with USB powered interfaces.

The STMicroelectronics EVLONEMP includes an active clamp flyback controller and high voltage start located on the primary side. The microcontroller and all peripherals required for control conversion and USB-powered communication are located on the secondary side. The two sides are connected through embedded electrically isolated dual communication channels. Combined with the MasterGaN power level, high switching operation is possible, resulting in the use of small magnetic elements and very high efficiency
