STMicroelectronics STM32C0316-DK Discovery Kit

     The STMicroelectronics STM32C03316-DK Discovery kit provides alternative features for the corresponding NUCLEO-C031C6 boards. Users can access the STM32C0 microcontroller's standard 20-pin layout. The user can override the SWD debug pin by disconnecting the debug probe. In addition, the 5-way analog rocker switch and LED can be replaced by the user using a sliding switch.

     The DIP28 connector supports all pins. The user selects the connector type. The 32768Hz onboard 1 pin clock generator for the RTC supports the use of a sliding switch to disconnect connections.The STM32C0316-DK Discovery kit facilitates migration from 8-bit to STM32C0 microcontrollers and between STM32C0 and STM32G0 microcontrollers.

     The DIP28 pin assignment is designed to be as compatible as possible with the ATmega328 8-bit microcontroller. The LQFP48 placeholder is compatible with the STM32G031/071/0B1 microcontroller, while the UFQFPN20 placeholder is compatible with the STM32C01 microcontroller. Finally, the WLCSP20 placeholder is compatible with the STM32G051 microcontroller. The 5V to 3.3V regulator is bypassed when the power exceeds 3.3V. The debug probe level converter changes the debug signal level to the target microcontroller power supply voltage.
