STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 NFC card reader expansion board

     The NUCLEO-NFC08A1 NFC Card reader expansion board provides a demonstration and development platform for the ST25R3916B NFC card reader. The ST25R3916B is a high-performance NFC (Near Field communication) general-purpose device that supports NFC initiators, NFC targets, NFC card readers, and NFC card emulation modes (if applicable). Fully compliant with EMVCo 3.1a analog and digital standards, the device is optimized for POS terminal applications, enabling fast EMVCo certification cycles even in harsh conditions.

     The expansion board features a pre-installed ST25R3916B NFC card reader packaged in a 5.0mm X 5.0mm VFQFPN-32 package. The Arduino Uno R3 connector on the expansion board makes it easy to connect the STM32 Nucleo development board or other Arduino-compatible microcontroller boards.

     X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 expansion modules can be configured to support communication with ISO14443A/B, ISO15693, FeliCa™, and AP2P. The expansion board also includes a 47mm x 34mm 13.56MHz PCB antenna and tuning circuit.
