STMicroelectronics TSU111H 5V gauge operational amplifier with microcurrent consumption and maximum operating temperature of 150°C achieves multiple features in one device. Adopt SOT23-5L package.
TSU111H complies with the AEC-Q100 zero temperature standard (-40°C to 150°C) and can withstand extreme high temperature environments such as braking system, fuel vehicle exhaust system and fuel cell generator. To ensure high measurement accuracy, the temperature sensor is usually installed in the hottest area of the system, and the sensor control unit (SCUs) is installed near the sensor. The TSU111H's maximum temperature rating allows it to be installed inside the sensor control unit.
In a less extreme environment, the TSU111H has a wider temperature range and can last three times longer than a first-stage device with a maximum temperature of 125°C, taking into account actual operating conditions. As a zero-stage device, the new stmicroelectronics operational amplifier can operate continuously at 65°C for more than 25 years, the same life span as the vehicle, while the first-stage device has a fault-free life of eight years. As such, the TSU111H is ideal for battery management systems (BMS) in hybrid and electric vehicles, where the application never shuts down and power consumption must be minimized.
The typical 1.7µA power supply current of the TSU111H imposes very little load on the vehicle power supply. In addition, the output voltage is accurate to within 250µV at 25°C and 600µV across the entire temperature range, ensuring high accuracy in signal conditioning across all applications and operating conditions. One of the most typical uses of the TSU111H is to achieve accurate measurement in the on-board charger (OBC).
