STMicroelectronics comprehensively improves the performance of industrial and automotive operational amps

     STMicroelectronics has introduced three new 6MHz rail-to-rail operational amplifiers to simplify designers' search for high-performance operational amplifiers. The new product performs well in various parameters, including wide operating voltage and low noise.A wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C ensures robust performance in industrial and automotive environments. The operation also has car gauge products.

     The TSB511, TSB512, and TSB514 are single-channel, dual-channel, and four-channel operational amps, respectively. They can be supplied with either a single power supply of 2.7V to 36V or a dual power supply of ±1.35V to ±18V. The wide voltage and power supply flexibility allow engineers to use familiar operational amPs in a variety of applications and power domains. Rail-to-rail input/output helps ensure that the dynamic range is within a reasonable range when approaching the minimum supply voltage.

     The input noise density of 12nV/√Hz allows the op amp to be used in circuits where signal integrity is critical, especially for weak or wideband signals. In addition, the fast 3V/µs piezoswing rate avoids sacrificing signal amplitude and frequency ranges in the filter and amplifier circuits. The 1.5mV maximum offset voltage ensures good accuracy and precision in control and measurement applications.

     The TSB511, TSB512, and TSB514 are ideal for filters, power control, motor control, and actuator drivers, as well as resistance sensors, such as strain gauges, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, and position sensors. They are also selected for high and low edge current detection, Hall effect sensors, and a variety of applications in test and measurement equipment, industrial process controllers, and signal conditioning circuits.

     TSB511, TSB512 and TSB514 belong to STmicro's 10-year product life assurance program. The three products have been put into mass production. They are packaged with Mini SO8, SO8, SOT23-5, TSSOP14 and SO14.
