STMicroelectronics introduces 150MHz+ high speed radiation hardened logic device

     STMicroelectronics launches two of the first products of the high-speed anti-radiation logic product family, enabling aerospace electronic digital circuits to operate at frequencies above 150MHz. The QML-V certified RHFOSC04(SMD 5962F20207) crystal driver/frequency division chip and RHFAHC00(SMD 5962F18202) four-way NAND gate logic chip operate at more than twice the speed of typical radiation-reinforced logic chips. High frequency circuit response speed is guaranteed.

     Using STMicroelectronics' proprietary 130nm CMOS technology design, which has been tested throughout the space industry, the new device combines high operating speeds, low operating currents and industry-leading RHA (Radiation Hardened Guarantee) radiation resistance up to 300 krad (Si) TID. There is no SEL and SET phenomenon at 125 MeV.cm2/mg .

     Its 1.8V to 3.6V power supply voltage helps meet the strict limits on power and consumption of typical satellite and space vehicle onboard equipment.RHFOSC04 has the function of multiple discrete logic devices, can directly drive the crystal oscillator, simplify the clock circuit design and improve circuit stability, while saving board space, and improve system reliability. The divider provides nominal frequency, 2 -, 4 - and 8-divider outputs, increasing the flexibility of the clock divider.
