STMicroelectronics introduces the TSB952 dual operational amplifier (op amp). The new product has a gain bandwidth of 52MHz and a supply current of only 3.3mA per channel at 36V voltage, bringing high performance to designs focused on power consumption.
The TSB952's supply voltage range is 4.5V to 36V, allowing for high design flexibility and the use of a variety of power supplies, including industry standard voltage rails. In addition, a wide voltage supply helps the system withstand large transient peak voltages and voltage drops. The new op amp also has a rail-to-rail output swing to meet the wide dynamic range requirements of application design, for example, power signal conditioning.
The TSB952 has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and can be used in industrial and automotive environments. St will launch AEC-Q101 compliant models in the second half of 2024. All products can withstand 4kV ESD electrostatic discharge (human body model), and enhance EMI anti-electromagnetic interference capability.
The TSB952 features a 3mm x 3mm DFN8 wettable side package that saves space and enables an economical PCB design. The new product also offers SO8 packaging in a standard pin layout, making it easy for customers to upgrade existing designs to improve performance and energy efficiency.
Industrial-grade products in DFN8 and SO8 packages are now in mass production, while the car gauge products will be available in the third quarter of 2024. A sample of TSB952 can be requested free of charge from the ST Electronics Store. The TSB952 is included in ST's 10-year product Life Assurance program, which guarantees long-term product supply.
