STMicroelectronics single-sided switch adopts a monolithic architecture with M0T5 VIPower technology

     The IPS1025H, IPS1025H-32 and IPS1025HF of STMicroelectronics are monolithic architectures with M0T5 VIPower technology and are packaged with PowerSSO-24. These ICs are single high-voltage side switching devices, which can drive capacitive, resistive or inductive loads (high-voltage side switches) grounded on one side. The working voltage is recommended to be in the range of 8 V to 60 V, but the breakdown voltage on the power supply pin can reach 65 V.

 
     The difference between IPS1025H and IPS1025H-32 devices lies in the internal setting of current limiting protection; All other electrical parameters are the same. The output stage is an N-channel power MOSFET with a typical RDS (ON) of 12.5 m Ω at room temperature. The minimum output current of IPS1025H is internally limited to 2.5 A, and the minimum output current of IPS1025H-32 is internally limited to 5.7 A.

     These two ICs can set two different current limiting levels (ILIMH-X and ILIML-X) for intelligent driving loads (such as bulbs) and loads with initial peak current demand (such as capacitive loads). The embedded protection has two pairs of current limiting thresholds and levels (IPKH, ILIMH and IPKL for each DPK time, ILIML), as well as integrated diagnostic functions, which can realize a powerful machine with load (with initial peak current demand).
