Schaffner's RFI filters offer UL 60939-3, IEC 60939-3 and CQC safety certifications and are compatible with RoHS II

     The FN9255 series of RFI filters with IEC C14 or C20 intakes is the first Schaffner inlet defined in the 300 MHz range. The two-stage high performance FN9255 filter family is yet another addition to the market proven FN92xx filter family for high frequency applications even above 30 MHz.

     The filter housing is only adjusted in length, which means that the FN9222, FN9233, FN9244 and FN9255 will fit in the same openings, allowing the exchange of the other if performance is insufficient with one of the basic models.

     The large number of variants includes about 100 different filter types. Two versions are designed specifically for medical applications; One choke with and one without ground. The series also features a rear-mount version, which includes a push-in nut to allow for a reliable assembly without adding to the chassis of the system.

     With varying diversity and current attenuation characteristics, FN9255 provides a solution for modern home appliances, audio, video and medical devices. They can also be used for several other applications with similar requirements. Filters have all the required safety certifications (UL 60939-3, IEC 60939-3, and CQC), according to CE marking, and are compatible with RoHS II(2015/863) directive.
