
SiTime Corporation announced the launch of Elite X for edge network applications such as data center, 5G front-end transmission, connected automobile and industrial Internet of Things ™ Super-TCXO ® Precise MEMS clock solution. In these applications, Elite X can solve the key clock problem and facilitate the delivery of new services.

The rapid popularization of 5G and the continuous growth of data centers will require large-scale expansion of outdoor decentralized edge networks." In order to enable new clock sensitive services such as Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) and intelligent manufacturing, edge devices need faster speed and lower latency. Here, accurate clock devices will play a crucial role. Traditional clock devices such as quartz TCXO and mini OCXO have well-known weaknesses, such as sensitivity to thermal shock and vibration, stability degradation at high temperatures, and short service life.
Elite X uses more robust and reliable silicon MEMS technology to overcome these problems and enable next-generation clock sensitive services in various application fields.
For edge network applications, additional parameters such as aging, warm-up time and power consumption are very important to the overall performance. SiTime's new Elite X has better performance than traditional clock devices, simplifies system design, and provides more reliable and consistent performance.
With Elite X (± 10-20 ppb), Emerald (± 5 ppb) and Elite (± 50-500 ppb), SiTime provides a series of first-class TCXO and OCXO, which can meet various application requirements in the fields of communication, network, automobile and industrial Internet of Things.
