Siemens launches a new version of Nucleus ReadyStart solution to help simplify and protect embedded RISC-V development

Siemens Digital Industrial Software launches the Nucleus ReadyStart solution for embedded development in response to the rapid growth in applications of the RISC-V architecture. The new Nucleus ReadyStart embedded development solution builds on the Commercial Real Time Operating System (RTOS) for RISC-V devices released last year with a host of new features, Helps customers enhance security, flexibility, and cloud connectivity for their next generation embedded products based on the RISC-V architecture.

Siemens Digital Industrial Software introduced the Nucleus ReadyStart solution for embedded development to cope with the rapid growth of RISC-V architecture applications. This new version of Nucleus ReadyStart embedded development solution is based on the commercial real-time operating system (RTOS) for RISC-V devices released last year. It updates a series of new functions, which can help customers enhance the security, flexibility and cloud connectivity of the next generation of embedded products based on RISC-V architecture.

Nucleus ReadyStart for RISC-V integrates software, IP, tools, and services in a unified "out of the box" solution. It is an ideal choice for applications with small footprint, advanced connectivity, and deterministic performance requirements. With this enhanced RISC-V integrated development solution, users can design and experiment with proven RTOS and Siemens' additional software services. It is applicable to equipment manufacturers from aerospace, automotive, industrial, medical and general embedded industries.
