The product family uses time-sharing multiplexing (TDM-MIMO) processing with multiple transmitting and receiving antennas to accurately detect the position and movement of occupants in the car cockpit. Samples and evaluation boards are expected to be delivered to customers starting in June 2023, with volume production in the first quarter of 2024.
The new SC1260 series 60GHz millimeter wave radar sensor adopts 6.8GHz(57.1~63.9GHz) bandwidth and expands the number of receiving antennas through TDM-MIMO processing technology to achieve high-precision 3D (including 1D and 2D) sensing. It is suitable for using a single sensor to accurately detect children or multiple adult passengers in the rear seat of a car.
SC1260 series millimeter wave radar sensor adopts deep integrated AllinOne design, built-in antenna, wireless circuit, AD converter, FIFO memory, SPI interface, can flexibly change the working cycle and control power consumption of high-function sequencer, and can achieve high performance ranging and Angle calculation radar signal processing circuit. Flexible duty cycle control. At 0.1% duty cycle operation, the power consumption is only 0.72 MW. Product developers do not need high frequency and signal processing expertise to easily obtain 3D location information.
