     The new lighting and control system is mainly composed of two patented components: Artesyn iTS SHAPE \* MERGEFORMAT (Intelligent Toggling Switch) and iHPS SHAPE \* MERGEFORMAT configurable power supply. Coupled with a new Artesyn compact 12kW, 300Vdc power module, they form a cost-effective lighting and control system platform that allows indoor growing environments to take full advantage of the most advanced technology. According to current estimates, this system can save 38% on lighting and control system installation costs, in addition to significantly reducing daily energy consumption.

     The new iHPS is a shorter version of the iHP power supply Advanced Energy has been leading the market. Due to its small size, not only can the cabinet containing the power and lighting system free up more room for other important circuit components, but also reduce weight and cost, and extend the life cycle of the system. The new iTS smart switcher allows two different plants to switch or share power from one source, making it the first solution in the industry to offer this feature. The advantage is that it reduces the iHP power required by half, helping to save some installation costs and significantly reducing the daily electricity bill.
