Souriau's UTL family of connectors is compatible and interchangeable with existing UTL 4 position connectors

     The Souriau Sunbank by Eaton UTL Series 4-bit connector with a back case is an extension of the existing UTL Series product line. These connectors are interconfigurable and interchangeable with existing UTL 4 position connectors. The UTL series of plastic connectors are ideal for outdoor lighting and industrial applications due to their high sealing performance (IP68/IP69K) and ultra-strong UV resistance from UL746C-compliant F1 materials.

     Designed and certified according to UL1977 and IEC61984 standards, the UTL connector family offers 5VA flammability ratings, hot wire and current disconnect capabilities to meet all standards for industrial equipment. A unique technical concept prevents entry into the system from damaging condensation into the equipment, preventing moisture within the system over time. A push-push-release coupled system with audible clicks enables customers to connect quickly and correctly even in blind conditions.

     The UTL is compatible with RS485, DMX, and DALI protocols, which ensures simple implementation of the connector in electrical architecture. They are available in a variety of housings, contact types, and feature a field-mounted version of a screw contact terminal that allows users to terminate cable assemblies in the field with a single screwdriver, a flexible and simple solution.
