Stmicro introduces affordable NFC transceivers that enable new applications and simplify customer interaction

     The ST25R3918 is a multipurpose NFC transceiver that supports passive transmission between devices and NFC card analog mode as well as NFC card reader operation.

     ST25R3918 inherits most functions of ST25R3916, the flagship product of stmicroelectronics NFC card reader, but its price is more competitive, and it can realize specific use cases such as accessories verification, so it has a very broad application prospect. In power tools and personal medical devices, ST25R3918 can seamlessly interact with ST25 tag. The functionality and features of ST25R3916 simplify hardware design and authentication for users based on ST25R3918.

     The ST25R3918 supports NFC-A and NFC-F card analog modes and can be used as high data rate NFC-A/B (ISO 14443A/B) card readers and NFC-V (ISO 15693) card readers with data rates up to 53 kbps.
