Stmicroelectronics has announced the STM32C0 series MCU to enable cost-sensitive 8-bit applications to enjoy 32-bit performance

     STMicroelectronics launches STM32C0 series of products with the highest cost performance among STM32 microcontroller (MCU) family so far, lowering the threshold of STM32 entry for developers. Billions of smart industrial, medical and consumer products around the world have adopted STM32 MCU. STM32 has thousands of existing product models, so that product designers can always choose moderate price, function and performance are satisfactory products.

     While securing supply, stmicroelectronics is positioning the new STM32C0 family for appliances, industrial pumps, fans, smoke detectors and other products that typically use simpler 8 - and 16-bit MCUS. STM32C0 New generation 32-bit design improves product performance and functionality while keeping total cost and power consumption similar, for example, faster response speed, additional functionality and network connectivity. At the same time, the ease of entry level products, combined with a strong ecosystem of free support, rich resources such as tools, packages, and networking opportunities with various developer communities, has lowered the barrier to entry for new users into the 32-bit world.

     STM32C0 series is now in mass production and supply, enjoying 10 years of industrial product life assurance updated annually by stmicroelectronics. The package comes in nine models, offering a variety of options according to different needs, such as easy to pick up, small and thin.
