     The BlueNRG-2N is stmicroelectronics' most advanced RF ip that combines unmatched performance with extremely long battery life. It is fully compatible with the Bluetooth Core specification version 5.0 and supports enhanced features such as state-of-the-art security, privacy and extended pack length for faster data transfer up to 700kbps at the application level.

     BlueNRG-2N is Bluetooth 5.0 certified, ensuring interoperability with the latest generation of smartphones and other host devices. It comes with a pre-programmed, certified, upgradeable and secure Bluetooth LE stack; Only ST-signed BLE stack images can run it. The Bluetooth low power stack runs on an embedded Arm Cortex-M0 kernel. The STMicroelectronics BLE stack is stored in on-chip non-volatile flash memory and can be easily upgraded with the dedicated STMicroelectronics software tool SPI/UART.
