Strata Developer Studio is the industry's most complete development, evaluation and design tool

     ON Semiconductor, a pioneer of energy efficient innovation, announced the launch of Strata Developer Studio, the industry's first cloud-based development platform that enables engineers to evaluate and design with ON Semiconductor technology in a seamless, personalized and secure environment. The Strata platform will make it faster and easier for engineers to work with evaluation and development boards, providing up-to-date documentation, product information, design and application notes, and reference design files directly on the desktop. This unmatched functionality makes Strata the most comprehensive design tool in the industry.

     All of ON Semiconductor's new evaluation boards in the future will be "strata-ready," meaning they will be automatically recognized by the Strata Developer Studio when connected to the main computer. The platform provides design teams with an evaluation board user interface to directly control board configuration parameters and visual feedback on board functionality. At the same time, Strata will download all the design information that engineers need to start evaluating or designing.

     Strata Developer Studio, offered by ON Semiconductor, is a Microsoft-signed application that connects to the company's SaaS platform. It uses an encrypted and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant database for security authentication, data transmission and complete information control. All information and security follows the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity guidelines.

     The development roadmap of Strata Developer Studio will rapidly increase functionality with new boards supported and new features added. The initial board includes a configurable multi-function logic gate, a dual 100 W USB-PD car charging system, and a universal off-line 200 W 4-port Type-C USB-PD source.
