SynQor has announced an advanced military field-grade three-phase programmable high output voltage power supply

     SynQor has introduced its latest innovation, the MPS-4000-270, a compact and lightweight high output voltage programmable power supply designed for use in the military sector. The device can accept 360-528 Vrms L-L three-phase input, capable of providing an output voltage of 25 to 400 Vdc, and full power can be used between 175 and 400 Vdc. As a security measure, it comes with a user-programmable current-limiting mode, in which it can operate indefinitely and can be set between 0.2 and 24A. MPPS are ideal for a variety of applications, including powering pulse loads, high capacitance loads, and battery charging.

     MPPS power supplies are highly compliant with military standards, including MIL-STD-1399-300B, 461F, and 810G. This advanced equipment provides a solution to the unbalanced three-phase load challenge common on naval ships. The MPPS is MIL-STD-1399-300B compliant and keeps the phase current balance within ±5% for ships and ±3% for submarines, while providing a tightly regulated DC power supply. The excellent conduction and radiation emission performance of the power supply has been rigorously tested to meet the MIL-STD-461F standard, as well as the MIL-STD-810G requirements for shock, drop and vibration. MPPS can withstand extremely harsh environmental conditions, including rain, sand, salt, high altitude and temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C.

     The MPPS power supply has a range of superior multifunctional features that make it a valuable product in today's military field. It is capable of being configured in parallel with up to 32 units, providing higher power output or N+M redundant systems. The MPPS has an internal control system that allows and groups simultaneous start and stop, making it usable as an integral power supply. The device also has a combat short-circuit function that allows it to continue operating outside a specified temperature range. In addition, the SNMP Ethernet basic module allows real-time remote monitoring, with email capabilities to alert users and monitor the console for important system events.
