TDK Lambda TPF45000-385 non isolated modular AC/DC power supply

     TDK Lambda's TPF45000-385 non isolated modular AC/DC power supply is developed for distributed power architecture (DPA) and DC microgrid. Efficiency 98%, 45kw rated TPF45000 provides regulated 385 V (DC) output with output current up to 117 a. The extremely low internal losses enable the use of fan cooling to avoid the complexity of water cooling.

     This industrial grade product can be used in semiconductor testing and aging systems, replacing multiple traditional AC/DC power supplies to drive 48v input DC/DC converters at local load points. When the 385 V (DC) output of TPF is used, the high current bus is no longer required, and it provides power for similar DC/DC converters that accept 200 V (DC) to 420 V (DC) inputs.

     TPF45000 is also suitable for led based garden lighting, and can also benefit from the power system based on 385v (DC) micro grid topology. By using solar panels and other renewable energy sources, AC power for lighting from the grid can be significantly reduced, thereby reducing the cost of power for growers.
