TDK has introduced rugged AC filter capacitors certified to the highest safety level

     TDK introduced a new series of AC filter capacitors B32354S *, adding a new edge to its portfolio of EPCOS metallized polypropylene film (MKP) capacitors for AC filter applications. The capacitor is a 4-pin design with a pin pitch of 52.5 mm, a rated voltage of 275 VAC or 350 VAC, and a capacitance range of 10 μ F to 40 μ F. The maximum operating temperature is 85 ° C.

     The new AC film capacitor has the characteristics of compact size, high AC load capacity and suitable withstand voltage capacity, and can operate reliably even under harsh conditions such as high humidity. It can pass the THB test (Level III test B) in IEC 60384-14:2013/AMD1:2016 standard under the following conditions: 85 ° C/85% RH/1000H/with rated voltage,

     The new series of capacitors have passed the IEC 61071 certification, the expected service life is ≥ 100000 hours, and the failure rate is as low as 5 FIT. Because of the internal safety device design, the new series capacitors meet the highest safety standard (10,000AFC) and pass UL 810 and CE certification. In addition, the flame-retardant grade of its shell and potting material is UL 94 V-0.

     The new series of thin film capacitors are rugged, and typical applications include a variety of demanding filtering applications, such as the output filtering of motor drivers, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and photovoltaic inverters.
