TDK introduces the industry's highest rated current laminated magnetic bead for on-board power lines

     TDK has announced the launch of the new MPZ2520SPH series of laminated magnetic beads for on-board power lines. With a rated current of 12 amps and a size of 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.85 mm (L x W x H), this series of patch magnetic beads is not only the highest rated current in the industry, but also very compact and compact in structure. The series of magnetic beads began mass production in February 2023.

     Despite its compact size, this high-performance patch magnetic bead for on-board EMC Countermeasures is rated up to 12 amps. Currently, to achieve high currents, larger patch beads of at least 3.2 x 2.5 mm (L x W) are required, or multiple patch beads with currents less than 12 amps are used in serial configurations.

     Therefore, using a single MPZ2520SPH series patch magnetic bead will save a lot of installation space. Moreover, the serial configuration of a single product helps to keep the impressed current stable. The highest current rating in the industry is achieved in a compact design using TDK's original configuration patterns and the most suitable materials.
