
TDK Corporation (TSE 6762) announced the launch of the 4:1 wide-range input DC-DC module power supply "CN200B110 and CN300B110 Series" for the rail transit industry. A wide range of input rail transit industry dedicated DC-DC converter CN-B110 series power class is divided into 200W/300W two grades, a total of 8 to meet the different output voltage, current requirements of the subdivision models to choose from. The output voltage can be freely adjusted within the rated range by means of external analog voltage signal or resistance. CN-B110 series rated input voltage range is 43V-160V DC, can be compatible with 110V or 72V DC power supply system wide range of input applications, built-in self-recovery overcurrent protection, support ON/OFF control function.
CN-B110 series adopts compact structure design, the power part adopts the aluminum substrate process with excellent thermal conductivity, and the heat is transmitted between the power device and the cooling aluminum substrate by welding, and the extremely low thermal resistance can ensure that the core temperature of the power device is still sufficient under the harsh environment or large impact load conditions. The control circuit adopts double-layer overhead design, and the air insulation layer is used to isolate the temperature-sensitive devices such as optical couplings from the power parts with large heat generation, so as to avoid the overall reliability reduction caused by the heat conduction and accumulation of the power devices to the control circuit.
In order to meet the trend of high voltage demand for the input housing in the rail transit industry, compared with the previous generation product CN-A110 series, the CN-B110 series DC-DC converter has increased the input voltage resistance index of the housing from 2kVAC of the previous generation product to 2.5kVAC. The distance between the input pin and the ground mounting hole of the new CN-B110 series has been increased from 2.9mm of the previous generation to 11.8mm. Compared with the old product, the safety distance is increased by about 3 times to leave enough margin for customer applications, and it is convenient for customers to meet higher altitude or pressure requirements.
CN-B110 series with high precision active current sharing function, can support 11 module power supply parallel output. When the CN-B110 series is working in the current equalization state, the IOG pin (optional) can realize the independent real-time detection of the running status of each power supply. The high precision current sharing feature helps customers evenly distribute output power to each DC-DC. The Oring FET is added to realize redundant parallel connections to meet the high reliability requirements of the overall system.
The CN-B110 series uses a mature and reliable fixed frequency soft switching topology with high efficiency, high reliability, long life and low noise characteristics. The CN-B110 series offers extremely low no-load losses and high efficiency under light load conditions. This can ensure the redundancy of multiple power supplies in common light load conditions can also achieve the optimal design of the overall system power consumption. Its mature topology and excellent internal thermal management ensure output starts with up to 30000uF capacitive loads to withstand the impact of harsh loads in end applications.
4:1 Wide range Input rail transit industry dedicated DC-DC converter CN-B110 series is a standard half-brick size, only 61mm long, 57.9mm wide, 12.7mm high. It has built-in 12V 10mA auxiliary power supply (optional), which is convenient for users to directly use for status detection or remote control applications, so as to effectively streamline the system circuit, save circuit board space, and reduce system design costs.
