TDK releases a new series of pressure -sensitive resistance with overvoltage protection and enhanced monitoring functions

     TDK Co., Ltd. has recently launched two new series of thermal protection elements equipped with over -voltage protection.The current MT25 series (B72225M) component is currently covered with 150 VRMS to 385 VRMS, and the maximum wave current capacity is 20 kA (8/20 µS pulse waveforms), which meets the IEC 61643-11 standard. The protection component design is extremely compact. The complete packaging is only 25 x 28 x 14 mm, and the monitoring output that can be selected or without charging isolation.

     The voltage range of the MT30 series (B72230M*) components is 150 VRMS to 750 VRMS, and the maximum wave current capacity is 25 kA (8/20 µS pulse waveform), which also meets the IEC 61643-11 standard, with a size of 34 x 28 x 14 14 MM, the monitoring output of the pressure -sensitive resistance adopts electrical isolation design.

     The new type of thermofuse -sensitive resistance is based on the in -depth development of the pressure -sensitive resistance, and a thermal protection element that obtains a patent is connected in series. If the pressure -sensitive resistance is continued, the fuse will be disconnected and reliably interrupted from the circuit connection from the circuit to prevent damage to the printing circuit board or component around the pressure -sensitive resistance. In addition, disconnecting power can effectively prevent heat out of control.

     With the shell made of excellent heat resistance and flame retardant materials, thermofuse MT25 and MT30 series pressure-sensitive resistance achieved the flame retardant grade of UL 94 V-0 (for details, please refer to the 4th edition of the UL 1449 standard).

     The new series of pressure -sensitive resistance is widely used in various types of applications, including photovoltaic inverters, high -power industrial power supply and inverter, as well as the power supply of lighting and telecommunications systems.
