TE Connectivity Introduces New antennas for 5G, NB-IoT and LTE-M

     TE Connectivity announced the launch of new antennas for 5G, NB-IoT and LTE-M to meet the demands of cellular iot devices for different frequency bands and multiple bandwidths. As cellular iot devices continue to grow, the market demand for 5G and LPWAN (Low power wide Area Network) antenna products continues to rise. Both NB-IoT and LTE-M are LPWAN wireless technology standards, with the former focusing on low-cost, indoor, high-density connectivity and long-life batteries, while the latter focuses on M2M communications. The connection performance of 5G and cellular LPWAN depends on frequency band and reliable RF performance, which are also the focus of TE antenna products.

     TE's new antennas for 5G, NB-IoT and LTE-M offer multiple band solutions from 600 MHz to 6 Ghz. Customers can choose antenna mount type (such as board, embedded, external, or terminal antennas), cable length, and connector options depending on the system architecture. The antennas can be easily integrated into end devices without tuning, and TE offers antenna installation services to help with complex multi-antenna assemblies.
