TE Connectivity expands LEAVYSEAL product line

     As electrical systems in transportation industries such as transportation, construction, mining, Marine and agriculture evolve, there is a need to protect these systems from harsh environments such as vibration, moisture, salt, dust and dirt. To meet this growing demand, TE Connectivity, a global leader in connectivity and sensors, has expanded its LEAVYSEAL product line. LEAVYSEAL Connectors are TE Sealed high pin count connector solutions that provide an extremely broad portfolio of connectors and accessories designed to withstand harsh environments and help vehicles operate safer, cleaner and smarter.

     LEAVYSEAL connectors provide a secure solution that is flexible to use and easy to assemble. Made of flame retardant UL 94 V-0 material, integrated secondary locking for contact alignment, a high temperature range of -40 to 140 degrees Celsius and a high level of IP protection (IP67, IP69K with cover) make LEAVYSEAL suitable for harsh environment applications.

     LEAVYSEAL connectors feature a lever lock system for robust, sealed fit and series, flange or PCB mounting options, as well as 15 to 120 pin arrangements and hybrid terminal sizes. LEAVYSEAL lever design and mechanical keying of the four-color code allows flexible use and provides more convenient fit and assembly.
