TE Connectivity improves heavy equipment reliability with the next generation of snap-back seal connectors

     Agricultural machinery, mining machinery, and construction machinery are exposed to high vibration, extreme temperature, humidity, dust, dirt, and rubble that can severely damage electrical wiring harnesses and equipment. To enhance reliability in harsh environments and increase the trustworthiness and reliability of complex automotive electrical systems, TE Connectivity, a global leader in connectivity and sensing, is committed to solving this problem with its next generation of innovative connectors: DEUTSCH Dt connectors with snap-on wire seal covers.

     An extension of the existing DEUTSCH DT 2/3 connector range - the new snap-back DT connector offers improved sealing performance, compatibility with interfaces of previous models of parts and a reinforced seal, with a ring that can be replaced as needed. It is ideal for wire-to-wire, wire-to-device, and wire-to-panel connections.

     The snap-back cover features wire seal protection (standard) and optional heat shrink bushings to meet past DT connector requirements and IP67 and IP68 grades, making a seamless design transition from previous legacy solutions to new applications.
