
TE Connectivity has introduced a new surface printed flame retardant single wall Heat shrink tube (SWFR) product. TE's flame retardant single wall heat shrink tubing products are made of irradiated cross-linked polyolefin materials, which are cost-effective, highly flame retardant and have a 2:1 shrinkage ratio. It is insulating, providing mechanical protection and insulation for components, electrical connections, terminals, etc.
This halogen-free heat shrink sleeve can be used in confined Spaces with a relatively low full recovery temperature (90 ° C), enabling rapid application. There are two very soft versions available, the X2 for thin-wall heat shrink tubing and the X4 for ultra-thin-wall heat shrink tubing. Both types of products are halogen-free and can be used in confined Spaces that cannot accept the presence of any harmful fumes or gases. SWFR heat shrink tubes have extremely high flame retardancy: UL VW-1 and CSA OFT flame retardancy grades. New surface printing versions help with easy recognition.
TE's SWFR single wall heat shrink bushings offer high flame retardancy and consumer safety, making them ideal for home appliances, motor vehicles, commercial and consumer electronics applications. Environmentally friendly formula, no halogen, very little toxic or acidic gas released during combustion, so it is very suitable for use in confined Spaces.
The product is electrically insulating, providing mechanical protection for components and other electrical connections and terminals; Its low recovery temperature allows for quick installation, reducing the risk of damage to temperature-sensitive components. The X2 thin-wall version shrinks fast, and the X4 ultra-thin-wall version shrinks more than twice as fast as the X2. The heat shrink tubing is exceptionally flexible and offers 0.8-30mm diameter and two different wall thickness options for use in a range of applications. New surface printing versions help with easy recognition.
