TE introduces new, affordable options for high voltage terminals and connectors, so design engineers no longer have to worry about missing parts, difficult assembly or difficult order quantities. The new hybrid and electric vehicle solution suite includes all the reliable parts TE has always offered for harness assembly, but now in one package that is easy to order.

     Thanks to TEConnecTIvity(TE), a global leader in connectivity and sensors, introducing a new, affordable option for high-voltage terminals and connectors, design engineers no longer have to worry about missing parts, difficult assembly or difficult order quantities. The new hybrid and electric vehicle solution suite includes all the reliable parts TE has always offered for harness assembly, but now in one package that is easy to order. The kits are suitable for AMP+HVA280, AMP+HVA630, AMP+HVP800, AMP+HVP1100 and AMP+IPT solutions and are ideal for high voltage, hybrid and electric vehicle applications.

The Hybrid and electric Vehicle Solutions suite gives design engineers all the reliable parts of TE they need for a packaged component, so they don't have to worry about losing any parts or having trouble meeting orders."

 

     The AMP+HVA280 two - or three-position low - and medium-current male and female connectors are finger resistant and touch safe, and are flexible in design to provide options for a wide range of hybrid/electric vehicle equipment applications. The product family can be used with multi-core or individually shielded wires and includes an industry-unique split design that increases the efficiency of packaging and manufacturing. In addition, the system can be secured by a two-stage lock. The connector system offers multiple locking options with an integrated internal HVIL high voltage interlock for form-factor optimization and flexible wiring.

 

     AMP+HVA630 2 -, 3 -, 4 - and 5-bit low - and medium-current male and female connectors are touch safe, designed to meet AK4.3.3,LV215-1 specifications and equipped with CPA (Connector Positioning Guarantee). AMP+ connectors and connectors provide up to 40A current carrying capacity at 140 degrees Celsius and 4-6mm2 multi-core wire diameters for a wide range of EV device applications. Shielded and hermetically sealed two-position connectors are designed to achieve advanced performance in high-voltage vehicle chargers. The five-bit connector allows three-phase charging currents up to 32A for maximum charging capacity, and the required insertion force is less than 70N thanks to its lever control. The integrated internal HVIL ensures form-factor optimization.

 

     The touch-resistant one, two or three position high current male and female connectors provided in the AMP+HVP800 kit are designed to meet AK4.3.3,LV215-1 specifications. AMP+ high-current connectors and splices provide current carrying capacity up to 200A at 85 degrees Celsius (depending on wire cross section) and have sufficient temperature range and wide wire diameter range for a variety of EV applications. The integrated internal HVIL with multiple cabling options enables optimization of package size and ensures flexibility. The lever assist simplifies assembly and reduces insertion force.

 

     AMP+HVP1100 One high current male and female connectors are finger resistant and flexible in design to provide options for a wide range of hybrid/electric vehicle equipment applications. The TEAMP+HVP1100 provides current carrying capacity of up to 280A at 85 ° C and 70mm2 individually shielded wires for a wide range of high voltage applications. The system offers an integrated internal HVIL that optimizes the form factor.Finally, TE's AMP+IPT shielded ring terminals make it easier and more flexible to adjust the internal power terminals for a variety of applications
