TE Connectivity introduces the KILOVAC KCS03 current sensing high voltage contactor

     TE Connectivity has introduced the KILOVAC Current Sensing (KCS03) high voltage contactor, which integrates a current sensor with current trip capability. KILOVAC current sensing contactors reduce weight and space footprint by eliminating the need for separate current sensors, making them ideal for commercial electric vehicles, power distribution and energy storage systems.

     TE's current sensing contactors are small in size and flexible in use, which simplifies the configuration needs of applications. The sensor contains programmable tripping function, which can realize the function Settings of instant tripping, delay tripping or disabled tripping. These contactors are fully sealed to ensure reliable performance in the harshest explosive and corrosive environments.

It is flexible in configuration, so it can be adapted to a wide variety of applications and is ideal for many harsh environments."

     600A / 28VDC - 600VDC current sensing contactors can be installed in any direction and have bi-directional switching function to meet various application requirements. The integrated dual-coil electronic energy saver meets EMC standards with coil suppression and wireless coil radiation.
