TE Connectivity recently introduced 36 bit and 48 bit single connector for unsealed interconnection system of industrial and commercial transport vehicles

     TE Connectivity (TE) recently launched the unsealed 36 bit and 48 bit single connector, expanding its product line of unsealed interconnection systems for industrial and commercial transport vehicles. Unsealed 36 position and 48 position single body connectors are of rugged, compact and high-density design, equipped with an improved mature lever system, which reduces the insertion force and improves the assembly process.

     "TE's unsealed interconnection system provides an excellent solution for customers seeking unsealed, robust and flexible connectors. It is designed for the application of cab interiors, bulkheads and control units of highway and off highway vehicles," said Zhaowen Zhou, senior engineering manager of TE Company. "With the introduction of unsealed 36 bit and 48 bit single connectors, we currently offer a broad portfolio of 1-bit to 48 bit connectors that are reliable and easy to assemble."

     The unsealed 36 bit and 48 bit single connector also provides an integrated independent secondary locking function to enhance contact alignment, and adopts the popular AMP MCP 1.5K and MCON 1.2 contact systems as well as the new integrated single housing structure to improve the strength and overall application experience. The four color code helps to reduce misplug. All 36 bit and 48 bit connectors can be installed in the existing bulkhead openings without further design changes.

     TE's unsealed interconnection system can be used for trucks, buses and construction, agricultural and all terrain (ATV)/practical all terrain (UTV) vehicles.
