TE introduces STRADA Whisper cable sockets that support next-generation data rates

     TE Connectivity, a global leader in innovative connectivity solutions for high-speed computing and networking applications, announced the launch of a new STRADA Whisper cable socket that enables engineers to design PAM-4 servers, switches and routers with data rates up to 112G. The series of cable receptacles integrates STRADA Whisper connectors to enable a variety of high-speed solutions, including backplanes, midboards or input/output (I/O) products, bypassing printed circuit boards (PCBS) to minimize insertion losses and crosstalk.

     TE STRADA Whisper cable sockets effectively optimize high frequency signal integrity and save PCB space, which is critical for high density device system design. STRADA Whisper cable sockets are compatible with a wide range of TE backboards, midboards, or input/output (I/O) products. Includes small size pluggable (SFP) connector, four-channel Small pluggable (QSFP) connector, four-channel Small pluggable Double density (QSFP-DD) connector, Sliver connector, eight-channel Small Pluggable (OSFP) connector (as well as customized cable receptacles), Gives system architects the flexibility to build advanced communications equipment that customers require.
