TE introduces XRC, SRC, and ML-XT connectors as well as XRC terminals

     TE Connectivity has added ultra-rugged Circular connectors (XRC), Sealed Rectangular connectors (SRC), ML-XT connectors and XRC terminals to its connectivity solutions portfolio. These connector products (formerly manufactured by Molex) are ideal for harsh environment applications. As a global industry technology leader in building a safer, sustainable, efficient and connected future, TE will continue to produce this product family at the highest quality and specifications to ensure a seamless transition for customers who need these products. TE has started taking orders for XRC and SRC connectors. 

     Jean-Paul Gervais, Product Manager at TE's Industrial and Commercial Transport Business Unit, said: "XRC, SRC, ML-XT and XRC terminals have been trusted brands in the connector sector for many years.      The XRC circular connectors are heavy-duty plastic connectors available in two housing sizes with 18-14 and 24-31 terminal arrangements. The SRC Rectangular connector is a sealed, high-pin count hybrid solution that offers up to 84-bit power and signal circuit combinations with eight terminal arrangements. ML-XT sealed rectangular connectors are available in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 18 positions. The XRC terminal provides rated current up to 13 amps.

     The main benefits of XRC, SRC, ML-XT and XRC terminals are reliability, ease of use and flexibility for harsh environment applications.
