TE introduces a new generation of miniaturized hybrid standard wire-to-board connector

     For the domain controller connection needs, TE Connectivity automotive division China team developed a new generation of miniaturized hybrid standard line to board connector. At the beginning of the design, the flexible layout requirement of domain control connection is fully considered. Its series of five groups of products (board end and their respective matching female end connectors) are carefully designed in connection PIN, terminal line diameter, product size, with super simple and efficient layout scheme to achieve efficient connection effect.

     At the beginning of the design of the new generation of TE miniaturized hybrid standard wire-to-board connector, the flexible layout of the domain control connection has been fully considered. Its series of five groups of products (board end and their respective matching female end connectors) are carefully designed in connection PIN, terminal line diameter, product size, with super simple and efficient layout scheme to achieve efficient connection effect.

     Different from the traditional plate end connector single/double row terminals and transverse occupy board, based on the detailed cutting of common connection conditions, most of this series of products adopt upper and lower multi-row terminal connection. By integrating the matrix arrangement of 0.64mm, 1.2mm, 2.8mm and 6.3mm terminals, it can arrange more than one contact point in a limited space.

     In addition, the structure of the five groups of plate end connectors takes into account the demand for dense arrangement, and the edge of the plastic case is designed with an interlocking contour. In the condition of transverse arrangement of multi-plate end connectors, they can be closely splicing each other, which not only saves transverse space, but also plays the effect of side by side and mutual fixation, so that the connection is more stable and reliable. Unified splicing parts design, so that different plate end can splicing, two, three combination can be a group debut.

     TE Connectivity's new generation of miniaturized hybrid standard wire-to-plate connector products are designed based on the Pin in Paste (PIP) process, using high temperature plastic raw materials, which can not only meet the peak 260°C reflow welding process, but also compatible with the traditional wave soldering process, which is more compatible in the process and widely used.
