TE Connectivity, a global technology leader in connectivity and sensing, announced the introduction of a new CeeLok FAS-X connector that combines robust reliability and signal integrity to meet high-speed protocol requirements now and in the future. The connector allows for quick field connection and servicing with only standard terminal insertion/removal and crimping tools.
The CeeLok FAS-X connector meets the 10Gb/s transmission requirements of the aerospace market, and also meets the requirements of high-speed protocols such as IEEE 1394b I/O, FC networking, and modular D38999 for a variety of harsh environment applications. Its patented shielding device enables excellent signal integrity, essentially eliminating crosstalk, and thorough separation via connectors for improved impedance matching.

At the heart of its design are the D38999 standard housing and the 22 AWG M39029 standard terminals, which form an extremely strong building block for high-speed connectors."
CeeLok FAS-X connectors operate in a temperature range of -60 ° C to 200 ° C to meet the moisture and corrosion resistance requirements of airborne and Marine operating environments. The product is also available in No. 25 housing and various D38999 standard modules to meet the needs of No. 22, 20 and 16 terminals.
