TRACO Power's TRV 2M series converters protect 2XMOPP-compliant connected interfaces or patient-intended parts

     TRACO Power's TRV 2M series 2 W DC/DC converters feature a compact SIP-9 package with enhanced 5000 VAC isolation for medical and industrial applications. This series is designed to protect any connected interfaces or parts for patients that comply with 2xMOPP. TRV 2M series consists of 21 models, providing 1.5:1 input range of 4.5 VDC to 7 VDC, 9.6 VDC to 14.4 VDC, 12 VDC to 18 VDC, and 19.2 VDC to 28.8 VDC. The input voltage is 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, ± 5 V, ± 12 V, and the output is ± 15 V. These isolated and regulated DC/DC converters can operate at full load without derating with high efficiency of up to 84% in the convection cooling temperature range of - 40 ° C to+80 ° C.

     These converters are ideal solutions for many applications requiring medical isolation systems and short circuit protection. Other functions include 5000 VAC isolation, continuous short circuit protection and reliability calculation of more than 10 million hours (calculated according to MIL-HDBK-217F good grounding).
