TT Electronics has added small size potentiometers and encoders to its range of variable resistors

     TT Electronics has announced the addition of four new product lines to its range of variable resistors. These include three new series of encoders and a new series of single-turn potentiometers. These products are ideal for professional audio as well as medical and industrial fields, including machine tool controls and home appliances.

     TT Electronics' new line of ENcoders (EN10, EN16AB, and EN18AB) gives product designers more flexibility to achieve ergonomic and aesthetic human-machine interfaces. The EN10 ENcoder features an insulated hollow shaft and IP40 protection rating, and its 10 mm product provides at least 100,000 rotations of life. The EN16AB encoder comes in a 16mm product with IP51 protection, while the EN18AB ENcoder comes in an 18mm product with IP51 or IP67 protection. EN16AB and EN18AB ENcoders are both designed to have a rotation life of at least 30,000 cycles and to save position information in the event of a power outage.

     TT Electronics' PHS21 new series of rotary potentiometers convert rotational motion into changes in resistance for smooth conversion of voltage or current intensity. The PHS21 series is rated at 0.5 watts and is designed to meet modern welding processes and has a life of at least 50,000 rotations.
