Tektronix announces the launch of a new family of power instruments

     Tektronix, Inc. has introduced a new line of innovative power devices designed to increase capacity and efficiency in industries that require more power output. The TICP series IsoVu™ isolated current probes are the world's first to feature RF isolation, providing excellent accuracy and safety for detecting rapidly changing currents in low - and high-voltage systems. The EA-PSB 20000 Triple Series is a three-channel, bidirectional power supply and electronic load, including energy recovery, providing enhanced test coverage, density and capacity in multiple channels within a single unit.

     TICP IsoVu detectors are currently available for order and will begin arriving in November 2024. The EA-PSB 20000 three-output power supply is currently available for pre-order and will begin deliveries in January 2025.

     The TICP IsoVu probe represents the industry's first current shitter probe with RF isolation, ensuring complete current isolation between the measuring system and the device being inspected. They provide high-bandwidth, low-noise current measurement in high-voltage applications, going beyond existing probes and alternative shunt measurement methods. These probes have a bandwidth of up to 1ghz, enabling engineers to obtain accurate measurements of rapidly fluctuating currents on an oscilloscope over a wide voltage range in nanoseconds, from microamps to kilo-amps.

     The EA-PSB 20000 Tri-Series is the first three-channel bidirectional DC power supply designed to provide high-density parallel testing of components in complex systems. Each of the three autonomous channels can deliver a maximum power of 10 kW and can accommodate voltage levels up to 920 V and current levels up to 340 a. The series enables users to consolidate many test configurations into a single setup, reducing expenses, equipment requirements, and test duration. It integrates automatic ranges that automatically modify voltage or current to provide optimal power over a wide operating range, enabling individual units to adapt to different voltage and current configurations.
