Teledyne E2V is the first to launch a four -channel ADC that fully meets space application standards

TELEDYNE E2V continues to cope with the most challenging application scenarios with a hybrid signal technology that can provide extremely high reliability. The company's EV12AQ600 has just been recognized as the industry's first 4 -channel modulus converter (ADC) with the industry's first space deployment qualification.

     After comprehensive testing, the EV12AQ600 has proven that it can withstand 150krad's total electrical departure (TID). These results of TID and SEE prove that this device is very suitable for long life cycle tasks or space applications such as GEO satellites. In addition, ADC also strictly passes multi -axis mechanical impact and vibration tests, plus static discharge (ESD), extreme temperature and thermal circulation test program. After successfully passed all the above tests, it now meets the requirements of NASA and the European Air Administration, and meets the strict MIL-PRF-38535 (QML-Y) and ESCC 9000 standards.

 

     Teledyne2V's EV12AQ600 series equipment has been applied to many key tasks in the military and aviation electronics fields, and space certification will open more new opportunities for its applications. This 12 -bit ADC supports 1.6GSPS data sampling rate on each channel, or supports single -channel 6.4GSPS data sampling rate under the cross -point switch. Detailed studies have shown that when they are placed in the space environment, they will not show the poor interface stability seen on the equipment of other ADC manufacturers. Therefore, once customers deploy them into space, they can be confident in their long -term operation.

 

     In addition to the leading performance and strong stability achieved by EV12AQ600, the ADC also has some other attributes that will help space applications. Since the cross -point switch is more common than other solutions after input. Once ADC's hardware enters the track, it can be easily re -configured for remote remote. The number of channels, bit rates, and dynamic range can be changed through the attached FPGA to meet new functional requirements. This built -in flexibility also helps to develop and design again. Engineers can follow the platform -based strategy. In this strategy, the original system can be adjusted subsequently to adapt to different application standards. Therefore, the development time can be greatly accelerated and the required project resources are less. The comprehensive collection of the FPGA library can be used to further assist in project development, and use Teledyne E2V's functions in the Xilinx ecosystem (XQRKU060) to implement space applications.
