Teledyne e2v Semiconductor Co., Ltd. added EV12AQ600 ADC to its leading high reliability semiconductor solution provider in its high-performance data converter product portfolio certified by MIL-PRF-38,535 Y-class space applications. Teledyne e2v today announced the launch of EV12AQ600 certified by space, which is the most advanced and universal quad core multi-channel ADC in its high-performance product portfolio with QML-Y space certification.
QML Y certification is defined by a working group led by NASA and officially released in the latest version of DLA MIL-PRF-38535. The traditional QML V certification is only related to the traditional seal assembly process. New generation assembly technologies (such as flip chip on ceramics) are compatible, and subsequent manufacturing, screening and qualification processes are not taken into account. Reliability is crucial for products going into space. QML Y enables aerospace system manufacturers to benefit from these latest technologies, while ensuring that every step of production is carefully verified. Teledyne e2v actively participated in QML Y.
The EV12AQ600 is a QML-Y high-speed analog-to-digital converter. It supports a sampling rate of up to 6.4GSP, which is also one of the highest sampling rates for space applications in the world. It has 7GHz analog bandwidth and many excellent performances, such as the cross point switch that can convert ADC from one channel to four channels, sampling delay adjustment, and simple multi chip synchronization function. It has successfully passed the radiation test of up to 150 Krad and achieved aerospace certification.
